Future Vanguard LLC was founded to bring modern, senior, hands-on technical delivery to federal IT contracting. Too often, federal technology programs are delayed by layered subcontracting structures that separate the people making decisions from the people writing the code. We built this company to close that gap.
A small team of experienced technical practitioners, working directly with agency stakeholders, using current tools and development practices, including AI-assisted engineering workflows applied responsibly and with senior oversight.
Future Vanguard LLC is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and is certified as a Woman-Owned Small Business (formal certification in process; the company self-certifies as WOSB under SBA guidelines pending completion of that process).
As a new company, we do not have a history of federal contract awards to point to yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we offer instead is direct visibility into our technical capability and approach, described plainly on this site, and a leadership and delivery structure built for accountability and low overhead from day one.
Raleigh Cortez is the Managing Member and 100% owner of Future Vanguard LLC. As Managing Member, Raleigh holds ultimate authority over the company's business decisions, contracting relationships, and strategic direction, and is the company's primary point of contact for agency and contracting officer inquiries.
Carlos Guerrero Pogan serves as Chief Technology Officer, an independent contractor role, providing technical leadership across the company's software development, AI tooling, and cloud infrastructure engagements. As CTO, Carlos is responsible for technical architecture decisions, delivery quality, and the engineering practices that underpin the company's work.
Outside of Future Vanguard, Carlos has spent his career building software independently. His prior work includes Cared AI (getcared.ai), an AI product; Dexter, a plan-aware AI assistant for general contractors built around wearable smart glasses; Calyssa, a clinical documentation AI that generates SOAP notes and ICU pre-rounds for healthcare providers; and the digital presence he built for JK Prestige, a construction company. These are Carlos's own individual ventures, built separately from and prior to Future Vanguard LLC, and are not affiliated with or owned by the company.
Future Vanguard LLC operates as a lean organization by design. We believe a small, senior team produces faster decisions, clearer communication, and higher-quality technical work than a large organization with multiple management layers between the agency and the engineer. This structure also allows us to keep overhead low, which we pass through as competitive, transparent pricing on our contracts.
